WW II German Aircraft UV Leuchte - COCKPIT LIGHT - Me109 Fw190 Me262 - RARE!

Description

You are bidding on a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe UV Leuchte (UV Cockpit Light), Fl. 32266, as used in the Me109, Fw190, Me110, Me262, and others!
When the pilot turned the
UV lights turned on at night, they directed UV light towards the cockpit instruments.
This caused a reaction within the Dials and as a result, the dials and gauges glowed.
It was used in the Me109, Fw190, Me262, and other fighters and destroyers.
Made of aluminum and steel by Siemens, this item dates mid-war around 1943-1944.
Much of the original finish remains, however there is some slight wear and marks due to the age.
The Fl. number can be seen on the side, indicating, Fl. 32266, and it comes COMPLETE with the original cap (Fl. 32253-3), and the internal filter!  I have indicated a similar type located in the Me109 Cockpit in the last photo.
