Uncommon Antique Hatpin Hammered Sterling. Beautiful Bright Enameled Colors.
The head (ornament) is in excellent shape, enamel, sterling silver;  stem is straight/strong, solid connection.
Similar examples in Lillian Baker's book.
No soldering or glue.
Marked:  Birmingham Sterling 1908  J. W.
Very good overall condition.  No dents, cracks or chips.
Date:  late 1800s to early 1900s.
Total Hat Pin Length:  11 1/4"    Dimension:  1"  x  almost 1 1/8".
