    Description

U451 Super UV Lamp: Portable Long Wave Light
For assured phosphorescence detection of all modern Canadian stamps
Also suitable for the stamps of Mexico, Norway, France, Portugal, Hong Kong, China, Russia and definitives of Great Britain after 1992.
Note: This model detects fluorescence in the longwave, broad spectrum of U.V. Light for stamps, and tagging on currency or phone cards. I
t will not work on the early Winnipeg tagging of Canada nor will it work on the stamps of many other countries like U.S. or early British. For that you need a shortwave UV lamp. I highly recommend the W450 Dual shortwave and longwave UV Lamp (with filter). It also will help differentiate paper varieties and detect the phosphorescence in minerals, which this lamp won't do. See item # 174702108600 for the Dual UV Lamp.
Long wave UV light tube included
Peak radiation efficiency at 366 nm
    Hand held portable model.
Requires 4 AA batteries (not included)
    Reliable detection of luminescence
FREE shipping is available on any additional stamp purchases!
