    Open Cell Sponge rubbers are gasketing and padding materials composed of connected cells that allow air or gas to pass through when compressed. These sponges offer good compression set characteristics, and typically rebound faster than closed cell sponges. Available Medium densities.
    Typical applications include shock absorption, cushioning, sound and vibration dampening, gasketing. Material is easily die cut. –
    The unique feature about open cell sponge rubber is its excellent ability to retain its shape after being physically compressed and manipulated. One can bend it or press it down, and right after the pressure is released the foam rubber will bounce back to its original shape. It is this feature that has helped make open cell rubber so popular with consumers.
