This listing is for TEN board feet of planed Monkeypod wood. All of these boards are 1 and 3/4 (or 1.75) inches thick and have been kiln dried and planed. Monkeypod has amazing figure and character. Monkeypod is very similar to figured black walnut. Monkeypod is used for fine furniture, flooring, paneling, cabinets, shelves, etc.We have 200 board feet of this planed 1.75 or 1 and 3/4 inch thick Monkeypod. We are the direct importer of this beautiful wood.
We have our own kilns and sawmills and can custom cut wood including services such as edging, planing, sanding, finishing, etc. The scientific name for Monkeypod is pithecolobium samans.
This listing is for TEN BOARD FEET of Monkeypod wood. This wood has been kiln dried and planed and is 1.75 or 1 and 3/4 inches thick. We will send you boards that are from 3 to 15 inches wide and 36 to 96 inches long. Please note that boards longer than 96 inches CANNOT be sent via UPS or FEDEX ground. In order to ensure a source of consistently superior wood that is also environmentally-friendly, we have developed and continue to maintain our own tree plantations.
