IT WORKS GREAT IN FLOORING. This listing is for 20 square feet of planed and kiln dried Granadillo wood. The boards are 3.25 inches wide and 36 to 96 inches long and 5/8 inches or 0.625 inches thick. These boards are edged and planed and will make some really nice flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc.The pictures show Granadillo lumber in finished products such as hard wood flooring, stairs, paneling, etc. Granadillo is used in snare drums and for other types of drums because it has such great tap tone and amazing properties. It is a figured wood that is one of the best known in the world. Sometimes it is called macawood or maccacauba. I have a beach house built with granadillo and it is more than 22 years old and holding up beautifully. One of our farm houses has Granadillo flooring that is 50 years old and still very beautiful even though we walk on this floor every day with hob nailed boots.
