This listing is for 5 square feet of GONCALO ALVES TIGER WOOD. GONCALO ALVES wood is similar to cocobolo rosewood in terms of figure, black stripes, and hardness. This price is less than per square foot (one square foot = 144 square inches or a piece of wood that measures 12 inches x 12 inches).
These goncalo alves tigerwood veneer have been sanded and will all be the same thickness.   This wood is great for making guitars. Or they could be used as veneers for work in airplanes, cars, or marquetry. All the pieces have been sanded on both sides and they are 1/8 (0.1875) inches thick.   The pictures show examples of this wood.   These are NOT the actual wood for sale in this listing.
All pieces have been run through our wide belt sander and are 1/8 inches thick.
