    General - American Prohibition Era 26 oz. Cobalt Blue Glass Seltzer Water Bottle. Siphon is plated metal.Siphon tube is glass. Siphon can be removed if desired.
    Etching - "PROPERTY OF NEW YORK SELTZER WATER CO. DETROIT, MICH. - THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD DEPOSIT .35 CENTS REQUIRED ON THIS SYPHON REGISTERED". Base etched "BOTTLE MADE IN AUSTRIA", with a light bulb like symbol embossed in the base. Siphon stamped "N.Y. SELTZER WAT. CO. - DETROIT, MICH.".
    Glassworks - These cobalt glass seltzers were made in Austria from 1918 - 1938.
    Color - Cobalt Blue
    Size - 11" Tall and 3-3/4" at the base. Seltzer glass is very heavy and thick, very sturdy glass vessel.
    Circa - 1918-1938.
    Age - Approx. 93 years old.
    Condition - Excellent strong example. Very High quality glass with very few glass impurities. Classic color, style and form. Outstanding glass blowers craftsmanship. Very clean glass, in very nice condition. Very pleasing True Cobalt Blue color.
