    C1930s Ceramic , porcelain ARDALT Japanese Asian Nodder Earthquake Indicator. Approximately 5” in height, his head moves back and forth as both of his hands move up and down. Created for many avenues, but the immediate nodding of the hands and head act as a warning of impending earthquakes. Brilliant! necessity, the mother of inventions. I have several of these in different sizes to list and will get them on ASAP. I will remove his head for packing and secure the hands. Thanks for looking at my auction. Sharon
