This listing is for 6 pieces of bookmatched cocobolo that has been run through our wide belt sander. All pieces measure 86.125 inches long x 5.75 inches wide x 0.12 to 0.13 inches thick. This cocobolo rosewood (true dalbergia retusa) is from Nicaragua and is true rosewood. This veneer has been kiln dried and is ready to be made into world class guitars.
Or it could be used in an airplane, automobile, boat, etc. This cocobolo is from Nicaragua and is highly figured with lots of oranges, reds, yellows, and very dark black stripes. Nicaragua cocobolo is much harder and highly figured than Mexican Cocobolo which sells for much less as it is softer and not as highly figured.
