THIS AUCTION IS FOR 20 SQUARE FEET OF PLANED TEAK WOOD THAT IS ONE INCH THICK AND WITH ONE WIDE FACE THAT IS ALL HEARTWOOD. ALL BOARDS WILL BE AT LEAST 3 INCHES WIDE AND 36 INCHES LONG AND 15/16 INCHES THICK. THESE BOARDS HAVE BEEN PLANED.For a more complete selection of our teak lumber and many other exotic tropical hardwood offerings, . This listing is for 20 square feet=20 board feet of PLANED teak lumber that is 15/16 or almost one inch thick. The boards will be at least 3 inches wide and 36 inches long. One face of these boards is all heartwood. These boards will work great for an outdoor project! This is true teak wood with the scientific name tectona grandis. Teak wood is very durable and can be used indoors or outdoors for a wide range of uses. This 20 square feet is also equal to 20 board feet of lumber and will be around 12 to 14 boards. These boards will be at least 3 inches wide and at least 36 inches long and ONE inch thick. We have huge amounts of teak in stock and these include giant slabs that come from beautiful crotches and other highly figured parts of trees--burls, fiddleback, curly, etc. We have thicker teak slabs and also sell tongue in groove teak siding/cladding, flooring, and finished teak products. Teak has natural oils that enable the wood to be used outdoors. These oils keep rain and snow from penetrating into the wood and make teak the most durable and long lasting wood for outdoor use! Teak is one of the most famous woods in the world because of its amazing qualities. The pictures show this planed teak wood. This teak is very accurately cut and has been kiln dried and end sealed with wax.
