2 vintage girls skirts for mending/repurposing
The printed fabric in pink green and off-white features a zig zag pattern and yellow flowers.
Both skirts are full and gathered into a buttoned waistband.
The larger skirt
The larger skirt has two 19 inch ( 48 cm ) long shoulder straps which loop onto two mother of pearl buttons on the waistband back. There is another MOP button to close at the waistband.
The waistband is 1 3/4" ( 4.5 cm) wide and lined with a plain white cotton.
The length from the top of the waistband to bottom edge of hem is 13 3/4" ( 35 cm )
The lower edge measures about 58 - 59 inches ( 149 cm )
The deep 2 1/4" ( 5.5 cm ) lower hem is also lined with plain white cotton.
The smaller skirt
The smaller skirt has two buttons on the waistband.  The waistband is 1 1/4" ( 3 cm ) wide and lined in the same printed cotton fabric.
The length from the top of the waistband to bottom edge of hem is 11 1/2" ( 29 cm )
The lower edge measures about 55 1/2 inches ( 141 cm )
The lower edge is turned in to form a deep 2 1/4" ( 5.5 cm ) hem.
There are a couple of small mends on the waistband of the larger skirt but in the main there is a lot of lovely reusable retro fabric for many another craft project.   The skirts would also be perfectly wearable as they are.
Please note that these skirts are on sale 'as seen' with flaws.
