ROD
of
GREEN
TRANSLUCENT FLUORESCENT EXTRUDED ACRYLIC.
(Actual dimension is 1.5 inch diameter by 11 7/8" inch long).
THIS IS CUT FROM A 6 FOOT LONG LENGTH OF ROD.
THE SAW BLADE IS 1/8" THICK. THEREFORE 1/8" OF MATERIAL IS LOST DURING THE CUTTING PROCESS.
Providing 11 7/8" long rods minimizes waste
The 1st picture is the rod being held in front of a FLUORESCENT BLACK LIGHT
The rod will glow
ONLY
when in the influence of a fluorescent black or Actinic type light.
In normal light conditions the rod is a bright vibrant lime green.
As you can see from the picture of the rod on the black grid, these rods are translucent.
The color of the rods will of course vary depending on the back round color due to being semi-translucent.

To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rods while being cut to protect the acrylic.
All rods have saw cut edges on both ends.
Please allow a tolerance of +/- 1/16" on all pieces.
